Candles and the Visible Bench at A&C
The Arts and Crafts shed was buzzing with activity this morning, as different bunks set about their various tasks. B-3 learned how to make candles by dipping wicks in wax, and they quickly began inventing unique shapes and designs for their creations. Let's hear it for the artistic spark! (Or, rather, the entire artistic candle...) 
Outside on the deck, B-10 was decorating a new bench. As they burned designs into the wood with magnifying glasses, they discussed at length all the places that the bench could go once complete. Wherever it goes, generations of Tawongans will certainly appreciate its thematic decorations. Way to leave your mark, boys!!!

LOVE these blog postings/pictures! You may need to sneak up on my son... he has instructions to jump in front of the camera, but has so far been elusive!! Enjoy your time up there!
