Israel Never Tasted So Good
Our Shlichim have a lot to share about their home in Israel when they are at camp. Israeli music is played, hamsas are created and Hebrew terms like Sababa fill the air. But today couselors Elad and Tomer shared their favorite part of Israel with some of the Chalutzim girl bunks and the results were delicious.
Homemade Hummus (pronounced CHoo-Moos), light and fluffy just like from the streets of Yafo, was prepared by Elad and G-9, while tomer and G-10a made Shakshuka, a spicy egg dish that is a central par of Israeli cuisine.
