Delicious dinner

Following the Shabbat blessings is a scrumptious Shabbat dinner. This week it was Chicken, sprouts, rice and salad. Yum!

Shabbat Stroll at Session 4

Shabbat at Camp Tawonga marks a special time. We start with a stroll of camp, during which we parade around camp with the Torah, adding in bunks as we go. We end at the dining hall, where we wish each other a spirited "Shabbat Shalom!" before entering the dining hall and saying the blessings

Goofin' off in the garden

Sustainability floats in the garden was a big hit. Campers made dolmas from Tawonga grape leaves, raced worms, and drew portraits of the chickens.

B-10 lends a helping hand

B-10 learned that picking up fallen branches and excess brush helps keep Tawonga safe from fires. After their work was done, they went for a swim in the river!

H2O Habit

G-2 was on their way to a morning of fun but not without a stop by the infirmary for a water break and sunscreen! Look at those happy hydrated campers!
